Inspiration for their design has been taken from many sources; music, film, video games, pop culture, comic books, and more. The result is an eclectic collection, with something for everyone. Imagine them happily galloping along, looking cute af as they go.

Hi, my name's Johnny Durham. I'm the creator of NiftyGiraffes.
I've been creating stuff on the internet for well over a decade. I had a popular YouTube channel which I started in 2006, and was one of the pioneers of the vlogging format. I stopped posting regularly back in 2013, and went on a little hiatus from the internet to explore the"real" world. I dip my feet back in from time to time. Last year I started a TikTok account to see what all the fuss was about, and somehow managed to gain over 130k followers in under a year. I've dabbled in many things over the years, from photography, to game design, to having a clothing line, to presenting a TV show on the BBC. I'm always excited to dive in to new technologies, and when I heard about the NFT space, I was intrigued. After spending a lot of time watching from the sidelines and learning, I decided to take the plunge and dive in to creating my first collection of NFTs. Combining my love of giraffes and pixel art, I bring to you NiftyGiraffes. I hope you enjoy the collection.

What is a Crypto Wallet?
To purchase NiftyGiraffes or any other NFT you need cryptocurrency. To hold and transfer cryptocurrencies like Ethereum, you need a wallet. It's a unique address that allows you to send, receive and store cryptocurrencies and NFTs. You can have the same wallet on your phone and computer. You can even have offline wallets and store them in a bank safe.
How can I buy NiftyGiraffes?
To purchase NiftyGiraffes, you need a Wallet and funds in that wallet. With that wallet you can sign in to OpenSea, a NFT marketplace where NiftyGiraffes are being minted and sold. Once signed in you can simply purchase your desired NiftyGiraffe through the OpenSea marketplace.

Minting a NFT is the process that creates the individual token on the Blockchain. Once its minted, it's open for everyone to see. Think of this like a certificate of authenticity.

For every transaction that happens on the blockchain, like buying a token, sending a token, minting a token and everything else, there is a gas fee that needs to be paid. These gas fees cover the cost of the hardware and power used to process and verify the transactions.

NFTs are a great way to support artists directly and over the long term. Certain NFTs can also hold a great investment potential comparable to valuable art pieces. Overall NFTs are an exciting new market and worth exploring.
